Class of 2016: Gregory LaFortune – Healthy Food Advocate

Nutrition undergraduate student Gregory LaFortune was diagnosed with diabetes at age 11. This diagnosis propelled him to study how nutrition affects the body, majoring in nutrition at Georgia State to help others learn about healthy eating habits.

Graduate student named GAND Student of the Year

Wendy Hermes, graduate nutrition Coordinated Program student, recently received the Coordinated Program Student of the Year from the Georgia Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Grads Make Top Pass Rate

Congratulations to the recent graduates of the nutrition coordinated program! They earned a 100% first time pass rate on the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) examination. This exceptional class had 12% of the graduates place in the top 10% nationally, and 35% placed in the top 22% on the exam.
